Electric or wood-burning: what's the difference?
Electric heaters offer convenient temperature control, while wood-burning heaters offer a traditional fire-heated experience. The best choice depends on your sauna model, location, available services and installation requirements.
Is a heater included in the starting price?
Your build starts with the sauna itself. On the Heater step we pre-select the recommended heater for your model and size, and you can pick another heater or no heater. Your total updates at every step.
Can I use an outdoor sauna in an Alberta winter?
Many outdoor sauna models are designed for use throughout Canadian winters. A suitable base, properly sized heater, correct installation, ventilation and routine care are important.
How do I choose the right sauna size?
Consider how many people will use it regularly, whether you want to sit or stretch out, and the available space around the sauna. You can compare model dimensions and bench choices in the configurator.
Can I choose the wood, windows and interior?
Many saunas offer a choice of wood, size, glazing, doors, benches or exterior finishes. Available selections vary by model, and the configurator displays the compatible options.
What about delivery and installation?
Free shipping. Standard freight delivers the crated sauna to your curb or driveway (liftgate included for crates under 7 ft). We can arrange unloading for larger crates for a fee; call or text us to arrange it before delivery. Assembly, site preparation, electrical connections and installation are separate unless specifically included. We can help plan the next steps.
